White lace and Promises

Looks like white lace, feels like white lace, it's a pattern of white, cream and ivory and soft gray on a background of charcoal, dusky black, deep coffee brown, sandy tan and patina brassy details.
Its the pattern, it's the texture, and it is inviting and mysterious.

Spooky baby skirt, a charmer in a babydoll print with a ivory muslin elastic waist, made of  vintage photos of decrepit vintage dolls in dusty gold frames, in shades of ochre, pasty donut, spider web dust and broken cloud white.

That 70s California style

Bell bottoms, flares, faded denim, floppy hats... all so 70s. In California, we did it a little bit different. We are in the wild West so we added moccasins, cowboy hats, and lots of leather and fringe with turquoise and silver. We loved and still love..... cool boho clothes from India.

cute shoes with a strap or 2 or 3 or more across the foot...that's a Mary Jane shoe. And a small collar ? That could be a Peter Pan....which is usually just a small rounded collar...But you know, if it's a cute little collar....it's charming !

sparkle...purple...and soft...
I am in love with this 60s dress......

black, metallic sparkle and an India bohemian thing going on.......
the opposite of cul de sac Mad Men....for the vintage mom with the hookah in the family room......

I thought it demanded a choker..so I tied a silk paisley scarf at the neck and let the tails hang down the back......this deep neckline will be the perfect place for a great necklace...some rhinestones or lots of chains in silver and gold.......

Empire neckline, a full skirt.....more room to stash the pumpkin pie and whipped cream...

I'm also loving the late autumn display of old books with weathered gold papers, some branches that blew down in the recent storm.......and my trusty old Napa milk can.......

In case it gets cold...bundle up in a 70s Irish tweed vintage coat  and drink some vintage Irish whiskey...Gorgeous Donegal tweed in shades of purple......

Look at the structure....this is a classic that will always and forever look good....
