oh boy, so I get a visit from pal..Derek.....what a darn fine time to chat with him about so many things...Tacoma!
We usually only see each other in a bar or sitting on a friends couch ..drinking and laughing.....also one time I killed my computer and he fixed it for me for FREE...

my daughter Annie and Tara Arndt and Ainsley Seago were on the wall (and many many other Tacoma kids...all around their late 20s to mid 30s now I guess) and how it was rather like the Music Man.....ya know ....shyster shimmies into town and fleeces the hillbillies of their innocence and cash.....well, more of that story later....must do research...where is it now?...and more pictures...
The program is the brainchild of Larry Sagen,aSeattle man who says he started thy Youth Hall of Fame International after he grew tired of seeing so many negative images.
"My sense is that if you keep telling kids long enough, hard enough, creatively enough how bad they are, they'll believe it," Sagen said.
Last year, Sagen started the program with a Wall of Fame at the Tacoma Mall that honored more than 900 kids. That program was successful, Sagen said, but faltered when adult leadership pulled out. ...
