summer vacation

means one must pack a suit case...and decide what to take. I always take a bit too much, because I don't know exactly who I will be....what mood, other than happy to be on vacation, will I be in. I always default to tomboy and comfort...that means cowboy boots, Converse, jeans, Tshirts, silver and turquoise. Oh wait, that's pretty much my daily uniform.

Unfurled the awning....because it is my porto-living room in the good ol' sunshine.....with some trepidation....after receiving this advice "Practice rolling up your awning on a calm day until you have the procedure memorized. Then do the same thing while blindfolded, with someone spraying a hose in your face. This will simulate a typical emergency storm take-down. " so, yeah that was fun. but I really want to show you the new accessories....

The Dream of a Tropical Island

The summer solstice has arrived in our little corner of our universe....tra la la la la..... time for the lazy crazy days of summer... I don't know about you...but I don't want to live in a world without summer. What's the point? Don't ask me...I'm from California. I'm the gal that wears her sandals far too long into October up here in the land of slime and snow and mold. Well, that also means you need some new summer duds....and at the end of this post ...is a vid of a fella that bought a Tropical Island....so he has summer every damn day!

Cuba is a tropical island. Too bad stupid people like Republicans hate Cuba....it is quite beautiful...





 Puerto Rico....hey, we kinda own it.....so easy to visit. Although, I hear Puerto Ricans all want to move to New York City....
