This is inspiring, since we are in the middle of a very slow and painful renovation of our 1960s home. This currently involves tearing up the old carpeting, scraping and removing the glued-on foam, and painting the plywood floors white. (And when I say "we," I really mean Andy, who has done all the work so far.)
