Food....

Funnest food stuff...in crochet...and just below, is one of my favorite yummy vegetarian meals...quick easy and you won't believe how good it is!
I love the crochet banana !! On etsy, KTBdesigns invents the cutest cleverest things to make...perfect for the kids...or for the Klutz in the Kitchen!

This is often called Bisquick Quiche, Crustless Quiche (not an appetizing title!)...but trust me..if you like quiche...and bread..and using one Bowl....I think you'll love this!

Mix together in a glass 9" pie plate or a 2 quart bowl:

3 eggs, slightly beaten
1 1/2 c. milk
1/4 c. melted butter
1/8 tsp. each pepper and onion salt, or a tablespoon or so of chopped onion.
1/2 c. Bisquick

Make sure it's pretty lump-free. Then sprinkle on:

1 1/2 c. shredded cheese (any kind)
2 c. cooked chopped broccoli, zucchini, mixed vegetables, chopped spinach or even left-over salad!
Microwave for about 13 to 18 mins depending on the wattage of your micro. Turn it around every 5 mins, or just let the turntable do the work.
Let it sit for another 3 to 5 mins to set, and cool.
EAT !!

The milk, cheese, & eggs can be replaced with non-animal substitutes too. Just reduce any liquids by about 1/3.

the picture is from Taste of Home, and they have more micro recipes.

A vintage car crash or 2, my favorite new hat, a scanner I'll hook up someday, vintage ice skates, skeleton wrapping paper....just the usual office wall decor....I love my dangly Puritan Shayne made for me when he was about 6 or so...so cute....John Lennon's head in a rusty Tonka toy.

Roger Vivier ! 70s ! Platforms ! Ankle Straps !

These are certainly some of my favorite shoes of All Time !

I've had them for a few years, and while I was desperately hoping that I would get a Wasting Disease so I could fit them (a size 6, which I haven't seen below my ankles since 1999)...
I'm now thinking ...that won't happen for several more years...I do believe when I hit 75 I will shrink...but at 75 I am just not sure I'd want to wear them....(who am I kidding...)

So, for sale on etsy they are....

The last time I saw a pair that were for sale they were listed by Marlene (Rhiannon)! Liebemarlene Vintage, that is....I believe hers were the same size, but had damage...And they were Still Cute !! and here's a picture of her and her Vivier's.

I love everything about them....70s, platforms, ANKLE STRAPS...leather, navy....slightly weird, but not tooo....and made by.....
Roger Vivier...a shoe master, inventor of the modern Stiletto heels in 1954, ladies.
Would Pam Anderson or Paris Hilton have a career without Stilettos? No, I think not.

Here's a few pics of Vivier shoes...past and present...

He designed the iconic Pilgrim buckle shoe for Catherine Deneuve for the French movie, 1967's Belle du Jour....
One of the last issues of Domino magazine (wahh) featured...Ines de la Fressange, muse of the current house of Roger Vivier....who designed the Pilgrim shoe to go with the Yves St. Laurent wardrobe for Belle du Jour.
Small World.

Vintage Skirts and bloomers

When the cold winds blow...it can get chilly...down there...
Layer up with tights and long socks....under a cute skirt...and add warm boots...and from the waist down you know you'll stay warm and stylish....

Here's a few fun fall skirts from sellers on etsy.....

a Polka Dot beauty from Solanah

a Mexican Beauty from starletvintage

a 70s Plaid lovely...and long too! from DalenaVintage

another Mexican beauty from vintageapparel

A velvet and calico Gunne Sax skirt from fablehandmadegoods

an indigo satin and net vintage crinoline from collectedstories

and from tialeyvintage, a classic plaid full-length skirt

...And what to wear under these lovely skirts and a crinoline?
Why a pair of recycled cashmere sweater wool bloomers...of course!

Black Cashmere wool Bloomers....

mmm...cashmere....
Black Cashmere wool Bloomers........

Time to bundle up and stay cozy under a full skirt....

with the luxury of the softest wool bloomers ....
just fresh off the sewing machine ...
and ready to warm the lady parts....

I recycled a black cashmere sweater for a lovely pair of underwear....
bloomers, pettipants....knickers...
Whatever you like to call them, these are classically quirky...

Trimmed in ruffled white lace, and black fringe...so naughty Victoriana...
and then black and white striped ribbons that tie in a bow.
3 brass buttons march up the side seams....so steampunk!
Stretchy black lace at the waist for more prettiness...
